Many situations can arise during the home study process that require individualized and careful assessment. In part two, an experienced panel will discuss best practices for addressing these situations. Questions around, approving the adoption of multiple children, older children or "breaking birth order" will be discussed. As well as how to best assess and respond to dynamics within the prospective adoptive family- such a mental health diagnosis, prior grief and loss, or past criminal history. Expertise will be shared based on years of experience, during this collaborative training.
